Rovak is Roy van Kaathoven plus a fleet of coding agents. When we say “we”, that is who we mean. Roy writes the specification, reviews the work and is your contact from the first call to the handover; the agents implement in parallel. That is how we take on work that would normally need a team, without a team’s hand-offs.
When a project needs a designer or a specialist in a domain we do not cover, we bring one in and name them to you. We never subcontract the build and stay on as project management.

Knows enterprise ERP from the inside
Rebuilt the conversion core of an enterprise document-output platform on Microsoft Dynamics, AX and SAP, and turned its configuration files into a drag-and-drop designer. Moved from developer to technical manager and product owner over twelve engineers.
Builds with domain experts, not from a handover
Built Helios for Autarco with the company’s physics experts: trace a roof on a satellite map, get an instant panel layout and yield, calculated in the browser.
Has lived with architecture decisions for six years, through an acquisition
Co-founded an interactive live-streaming platform, wrote its first line of code and led it as CTO: engineering grown from three to around twelve, the company to around fifty, multi-region across the US and Asia, acquired by an international group in 2024.
Has built systems where a bug moves money
Wrote a multi-chain crypto wallet for Telegram communities, spanning TRON, Ontology, Binance DEX and Solana from one codebase. More than a million wallets created.
Ran agents in production before the tooling existed
Built Sakurai in-house: a Slack-native agent platform exposing company services as MCP tools, with more than fifteen focused agents covering support, code review, release notes, moderation and analytics.
Runs its own products on the stack it sells
Rovak Solutions delivers client work the same way it builds and operates Socialog, MandarinAI and Bikkel.
You pay for a finished scope and one accountable person, not for a headcount kept busy. Builds are priced per scope, so our incentive is to finish rather than to accumulate hours. Advisory work runs hourly, because there is no deliverable to fix a price against.
Fifteen years of building software, six of them running an engineering organisation, showed the same thing repeatedly: coordination slows a product more than difficulty does. Hand-offs between a design agency, a backend contractor and a frontend contractor cost more than the work itself.
Coding agents removed typing as the constraint, so the team that existed to produce volume is no longer needed. What remains is deciding precisely what to build, and reviewing what comes back with enough experience to know what fails at three in the morning. That is the part we do.
