Why a week is a real number
Most studios quoting a week are cutting scope in secret. Here is the actual mechanism, so you can check it.
We run a build the way a factory runs. One person sets the specification and reviews the output; a fleet of coding agents does the typing, in parallel. Nobody works nights and no corners get cut.
That moves the bottleneck. Writing code stops being the slow part, and deciding exactly what to build becomes the slow part, which is why day one goes on scope and the rest goes on shipping. The code comes out conventional, tested and documented, because a machine that writes fast writes tests fast too.
